Chronicles of Prydian Book 1

I, myself being a fan of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit was immediately hooked. This book was set in Wales. This story is about a young man called Taran with the title of Assistant Pig-Keeper. Who has to chase after the special pig that can tell the future. In this journey, he meets Princess Eilonwy at Spiral Castle who is forced to learn enchantments from her "Aunt" Achren. Which she hates doing o because she was actually kidnapped by her. Taran on his journey with Gydion was also captured by Achren and whilst being captured they find another companion Fflewddur Fflam. A lord and minor king. Lloyd Alexander structure this book very carefully and very well, for this reason, I am going to give the book 9.5 stars out of 10

His story starts on St Williams day 1346 a very special year in English and French history. This year was the start of the 7 years war. Whilst in France he saves a Princess maid called Christiana whom he falls in love with and 6 words " love can be a dangerous thing" David Gildman use of emotions is amazing the contrast is beautiful and the story feels so true due to this writing like when a person is severely enraged but the next minute they are calm. The way he builds tension and drama is out of this world he keeps you hooked throughout. Constantly enticing you to read more revealing the plot very until the tension explodes. In my opinion, this is prob
